Dr. Andrew J. Bobkowicz died on Friday March 15, 2019 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, from late stage Parkinson’s disease.

He was predeceased by his first wife Sally (née Donohue, 2007) and is survived by his four children Mike (Heather Rydeard), Ken (Anna Seranno), Andrea, and Cathy (Bob Goyetche, 2017), as well as his sister Margaret Lefebvre (Ron Walker, 2017). He will also be missed by his grandchildren Simon, Aidan and Chelsey, along with Sally’s extended family of Donohues and countless friends.

Wondrously, Andrew found love anew. He married Jeannine (Wood) in 2008, and joy returned for his second chapter. She and her children, Gwyn (Tom Alexander), Samantha (Mike Mancini), and Todd (Sandy), along with her grandchildren Maggie, Mac, Peter, Evan and Veronica, embraced him and created a new extended family in Pennsylvania and Florida.

Andrew will be remembered as a proud graduate of McGill University (Class of ’58), husband, father, brother, grandfather, and dear friend.

Viewings were held at Kane & Fetterly in Montreal, Québec, Canada, on Thursday, April 4, and Friday, April 5. Service was held at Ascension of Our Lord Church on Saturday, April 6.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to McGill (www.mcgill.ca), Parkinson’s Foundation (www.parkinson.org), or a charity of your choice in Andrew’s name.
