Changed plans for SPC’s ‘A Taste of Fall Fair’

Changed plans for SPC’s ‘A Taste of Fall Fair’

To the Community,

The only constant in life is change. All of us have certainly encountered the truth of this saying in these days of pandemic. Swarthmore Presbyterian Church’s traditional Fall Fair is no exception. As you know, this Saturday, October 3, Swarthmore Presbyterian Church will be hosting “A Taste of Fall Fair,” a significantly scaled down version of the fairs that we have hosted over the event’s 40-year history. We write this week to advise that “A Taste of Fall Fair” has in the last few days been further right-sized for this pandemic year.

Please note the following changes:

  • Offerings for sale are simply Scotch eggs, Indonesian spring rolls, and magnificent mums.

  • Ordered items will be available for drive-through pick-up only.

  • Adjusted hours are 10 a.m. – noon.

A Taste of Fall Fair will not, after all, be a “walk-in” event.  Instead, it will be a drive-through pick-up of items preordered online. We look forward to seeing those who have pre-ordered these items, and we look forward to inviting the community to enjoy a fuller Fall Fair in years to come.

With great thanks for the community,

Fall Fair Team of Swarthmore Presbyterian Church
