Chester Children’s Chorus will lift your spirits

Chester Children’s Chorus will lift your spirits

To the Community,

Several years ago, I was offered the opportunity to serve on the Board of Advisers of the Chester Children’s Chorus. I was thrilled. By that time, I had attended more than 20 performances. Why? Having sung in at least one choir during each of the past 65 years, I love well performed choral music. But when I overheard a comment by a resident of White Horse Village after a CCC performance, I realized there is a more important reason. She said to her friend, “They always lift my spirits.”

I am delighted to invite you to experience the chorus from the comfort of your home at 7 PM on Saturday, December 12. Register here.

This is an opportunity for friends of CCC to be reminded why they support the chorus and attend its concerts. For those unacquainted with the chorus, it will be a joyful introduction. All will experience one hour, in these stressful times, that will lift their spirits. For everyone: a vision of a world where children in every city have the same opportunities for a good education as the children of Swarthmore.  A vision of what the world could be like if our national flag were once and for all washed clean of the vile stain of white supremacy, a world where all lives mattered equally.
