A Bat Mitzvah project for foster care

To the Swarthmorean Community:

Please join me in helping underprivileged kids in our area.

I am about to become a Bat Mitzvah. Part of becoming a Bat Mitzvah is doing a service project to help the community. For my project, I have chosen to help kids in foster care.

There are more than 500 kids in foster care in Delaware County, and they need help! I am collecting the following NEW items: Blankets; pajamas for kids ages 0 to 13; journals and nice pens for kids ages 13 to 18; and personal hygiene items for kids of all ages.

Please drop off these items in the bin at my house at 203 Harvard Avenue, or in the bin at the Swarthmore Co-op. Your generosity is very much appreciated!
